Pete and I recently traveled up to Lake Placid for vacation with some friends.  This was our first traveling adventure with Ian.  It was definitely an adventure.  I was surprised that we actually got to ski on the first day after we discovered that the back carrier we brought didn’t work with the extra puffy outfit Ian needed to wear to keep warm.  Luckily we found a framed backpack especially made for holding small children.  Ian really seemed to like it.  It’s definitely tiring skiing with a baby on your back though.  So I have to say our trip was also exhausting.  But I’m looking forward to trying another ski trip next year.
